5) The Spa at Disney’s Vero Beach Resort
Disney’s Vero Beach Resort is one of their more hidden properties, located about two hours southeast of Walt Disney World Resort. At the spa here you’ll find a wide variety of standard treatments. Their highlights are the Vichy Shower treatments, which offer a rain shower with a therapeutic water massage along with a selection of sugar scrubs (coconut, pineapple, mango, orange blossom, or green apple).
4) Mandara Spa at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa
Located at Disneyland Resort, Mandara Spa focuses on the combination of East meets West. The menu offers massages and body therapies the help you relax after long days at the parks. The highlights here are the “Journeys” inspired by the cultures of Asia, India, the Mediterranean, and the New World. How does a Balinese massage or a lime and ginger salt scrub sound?
3) Senses – A Disney Spa at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort
Located at Walt Disney World Resort, Senses provides a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of the theme parks. In keeping with the theme of the Grand Floridian, the spa invokes the feel of a turn of the 20th century Victorian-style garden. Their Senses Signature Package offers five hours of relaxation, including a massage, facial, and pedicure. A second location can be found at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort.
2) Senses Spa & Salon Aboard Disney Cruise Line
While cruises are certainly relaxing to begin with, it’s always nice to add in some private “me” time (or “we” time). Drop the kids off at the Oceaneer’s Club and head to Senses for a variety of spa treatments. The highlights here? Book a Spa Villa for a Mediterranean-inspired suite with a private open-air verandah. Or reserve a a massage in a Castaway Cay Cabana and enjoy a view of the beach at Serenity Bay. Extend your time with a visit to the Rainforest Room to enjoy tranquility at sea.
1) Laniwai Spa at Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa
Is there anything more relaxing than Hawaii? Laniwai Spa is beautiful and serene, and located in an adults-only section of Aulani. Reserve any full-service spa treatment to get access to Kula Wai, a co-ed hydrotherapy garden that you can enjoy all day long (with or without your significant other). The highlights here are the Signature Lomilomi massage and the rainwater suite.
So which is my personal favorite? Hands down it’s Laniwai Spa. Steve and I spent an entire day there between Kula Wai and a couples massage (I got the Signature Lomilomi and he got a sports massage). My favorite part was that there were so many areas couples could enjoy together, such as the relaxation rooms, hot tubs, rain showers, and lounge areas. We didn’t have kids at the time, but children 3 and older can enjoy Aunty’s Beach House while the adults enjoy the spa. I can’t wait to go back!
